The route will start outside Chinley Bar and Lounge. It will run out onto the main road and up through Chinley Nature Reserve. It will then start to ascend up Sandy Lane up and onto Cracken Edge. Next, you will drop down a steep descent and into the bottom, there's then a steep climb which brings you out just below the Big Stone. You will then run up to the Big Stone. This is the turn point. You will run back along the tops and descend down finishing with a technical descent out onto the road. On the way back, you will run through the village and back down to where you started.

 

This route has some steep climbs and descents with a few technical parts in places.
